1 Clean the car wheel nuts using a rag and water. Removing stuck-on dirt and debris ensures the nut is clean for proper lubrication.

2 Insert the nozzle on the can of WD-40. The nozzle snaps into place on the top of the can.

3 Spray the wheel nuts using the WD-40. If the wheel nuts are stuck due to rust, spray the wheel nuts generously. Wipe off any excess WD-40.
