The directions should be printed on nicer paper, not just plain printer paper. The directions should be smaller in size than the invitation. If you want to leave out any part, you can leave out the second larger envelope.

Large envelopesInvitations and ungummed envelopesResponse cards and envelopesDirection cardsTissue paper squares

Instructions

1 Put the invitation in the ungummed inner envelope, according to riweddingguide.com. The text should face the flap. Tuck a piece of tissue paper in front of the invitation.

2 Put the directions on top of the tissue paper.

3 Put the response card in the smaller envelope and tuck it under the flap.

4 Put everything inside the largest envelope.

5 Address, stamp and send.
