The topical uses of raw, organic apple cider vinegar include varicose vein and corn and callus treatments. Since vinegar is a fermenting liquid, raw apple cider vinegar works to shrink varicose veins when you apply it topically or ingest it. Raw apple cider vinegar removes corns and calluses through its cleansing and exfoliating properties.

Instructions

Varicose Vein Treatment

1 Soak cheesecloth (or any thin cloth) in raw, organic apple cider vinegar.

2 Apply cloth to affected area and then lie down with feet elevated for 30 minutes. Elevating the feet helps blood flow, improving circulation.

3 Repeat this process twice daily for four to six weeks. It will take this to shrink the veins.

Callus Treatment

1 Measure and heat one cup of raw apple cider vinegar. Heat the vinegar until lukewarm.

2 Fill a small basin with water and add the warm, raw apple cider vinegar to it.

3 Soak feet for 10 minutes in the solution.

4 Scrape away dead skin with a pumice stone.

Corn Treatment

1 Heat water in a large pot until lukewarm and pour it into a small basin. Measure 1/2 cup of raw apple cider vinegar and add it to the basin.

2 Soak feet for 30 minutes.

3 Rub the affected areas with a pumice stone and then soak a cotton ball in raw apple cider vinegar and apply to corns. Cover with bandages and leave on overnight. Throw this away the following morning and apply fresh raw apple cider vinegar-soaked cotton balls and bandages to corns.

Tips and warnings

Be sure you purchase raw, organic apple cider vinegar that contains powerful enzymes called "the mother." Apple cider vinegar without the mother has been stripped of its nutrients and provides very little health benefits.

If you have extremely sensitive skin, circulation issues in your limbs or diabetes, refrain from using the raw apple cider vinegar to treat calluses. Use only lukewarm tap water.
